Legal Representation

Taking the first step toward your uncontested divorce is easy – we’ve spelled it out for you:

1.  Read and execute our Retainer Agreement for Legal Representation on uncontested divorce matters.  E-mail your Agreement and credit card information to us, bring it to one of our offices, or mail it to us.

2.  Call us to set-up an appointment to review your case – (800) 910-DIVORCE

3.  Prior to your appointment, download and then fill-out your Divorce Questionnaire

4.  When you meet us, you’ll need to have a certified copy of your marriage certificate.  Copies of the certificate or church certificates will not be accepted by the court; what’s needed is a certified copy which, if you don’t have it, is available from the City Hall or Town Hall that issued your marriage license when you were married.

5.  Review the other documents and information that you’ll need.  Bring the documents that you have within your possession to our office for your first meeting.

6.  When you come to our office, we will review your goals and objectives, your financial statement and schedule your case accordingly.

7.  We will then begin drafting your court documents and prepare them for filing with the court.  When our work is completed, we will call you to come in, sign the paperwork, make any final payments, and give you a rough time estimate as to your court date.

8.  Once we receive notification of your hearing, you will be contacted immediately so that you may plan accordingly.

Self-Help Legal Assistance

Here’s the do-it-yourself approach to family law that provides you with the assurance of a confidential and fiduciary relationship at the same time!  Here’s how to get started:

1.  Download, read, and then execute the Retainer Agreement for our self-help service.  A cursory review will indicate to you that our rates are between $250 and $325 per hour, and that an initial $975 deposit is required to get started.

2.  E-mail your Agreement and credit card information to us, bring it to one of our offices, or even mail it to us.

3.  Pick-and-choose the help you need – advice on divorce issues, drafting or reviewing your Separation Agreement, or even input on whether or not to change attorneys.

4.  Call us to set-up your first meeting – (800) 910-DIVORCE

5.  After meeting with us, you may feel that you’re ready to get divorced, or you may decide that you need some more help.  Either way, you can rest assured that all of the information discussed will remain confidential.  You may choose to proceed on your own, or you might think of more ways that we can be of assistance to you.

Divorce Paperwork Service

The Divorce Paperwork Service is an easy process to begin:

1.  First, download our Divorce Questionnaire and review the questions carefully.

2.  Second, download our Divorce Paperwork Service Agreement.  Execute the Agreement and provide us with your payment.  You can e-mail the Agreement, bring it in to one of our offices, or mail it to us.

Our basic fee is $750, which assumes you have no children or property.  Learn more about additional services provided by our firm, and the fees associated with each.

Divorce Consultation

If you have reached the point where you are asking our lawyers for help, you are most likely undergoing a stressful, emotional and confusing time in your life.  We’re here to help – we meet clients as early as 5 o’clock in the morning – or even on the weekend if that better fits your busy schedule.

Here’s how to get started:

1.  Download our Consulting Agreement.  Read it carefully, execute it, and then e-mail it to us, or bring it into one of our offices

2.  Call (800) 910-DIVORCE or contact us to set-up an appointment for your telephone or in-person consultation.

3.  In the days just prior to your appointment, give yourself and our attorneys a head-start by gathering as many of the documents and information that may be relevant to your case.

$250 for each 45-minute conference or phone call.
